The TY-20-1 is a ring-shaped waterproof motor with a smooth white resin casing and an open center, designed for environments where moisture would quickly destroy an ordinary motor. Its construction follows the encapsulation principle: the stator windings are sealed inside a solid resin body, so water, steam, detergent mist and fine dust cannot reach the copper wire or the insulation. White resin was chosen not only for its sealing performance but also for its resistance to cracking and its clean appearance in washing, bathing and food-processing equipment. The distinctive hollow, drum-like form lets the rotor assembly or shaft pass through the center, which is useful for designs that require the motor to wrap around a shaft, bearing housing or fluid chamber rather than sit beside it. Compared with the larger bracketed waterproof motors that share the product category, the TY-20-1 emphasises compactness and integrated design, giving equipment makers a way to economize on space. Typical uses include washing machine drive modules, small pumps, dispensers, cleaning equipment, humidifiers and spa devices. The sealing process also gives the motor strong electrical insulation, a feature that helps to maintain safety when users touch or clean the appliance. Thermal conductivity through the resin is good, and the smooth surface can be mounted in contact with a metal frame for effective heat transfer.
