The TY-089 stands out in the fan motor family for its round, stamped-metal shell with a pattern of open ventilation slots and a ring of mounting holes around the edge. Seen from above, it looks like a wide disc rather than the slim cylinder or gearbox shape typical of oscillating motors, and that shape is the key to its purpose: a broad stator with a large heat-dissipation surface, designed to run blowers, ventilation units and cooling equipment for long periods. The shell is pressed from steel sheet and finished in a bright silver tone, with the slot pattern positioned to pull air through the winding area when the fan wheel spins. Because the body is wide and short, the motor sits close to the mounting plate, leaving more room for impeller height in compact housings such as cabinet blowers, kitchen ventilators and small duct fans. The peripheral holes let designers fix the motor with several screws, distributing vibration evenly and avoiding the stress concentration that often damages single-point mounts. A centered shaft supports the impeller on one side, and the bearing seats are machined to maintain alignment under load.
