The TY-049 is a heavy-duty spin motor recognizable by its silver stamped cover with four open ventilation windows and three broad triangular mounting wings. This architecture is intended for mid- to large-capacity dewatering tubs, where the motor must carry a heavier basket and accelerate it against greater inertia than a small household unit. The four windows around the shaft boss are not merely cosmetic: they create a direct airflow path across the end winding, which reduces hot spots during back-to-back spin cycles, a common situation in laundries and rental apartments. Each wing carries slotted mounting holes, so the motor can be fitted to different chassis hole spacings without re-tooling the machine frame.
